Since our 3rd place in ESL, it became a little silent around competitions or matches.
But today, on the 23th July 2010 the 'summerbreak' was over. Lucasscz from the czech team wX.Crew challenged us for a 4v4 friendly game with 3 tracks each team.
But then Lucas wrote on Thursday (one day before the match), that they have problems to find enough drivers. Actually Unbeliveable in view of their opponent ;) .
But somehow they managed it, and the match could start as planed at 20.00h CET.
First track was the epic 'The new Era' by our new mappertalent EVG. :) We all knew the track from Los Internos or DPF so our 4 actually should did end it fast. But we still had some problems and so wX.Crwe did 5 points. Result: 5:3 (1:0). Furthe is to say that Bohne did a new Dedi 1 here and EVG was really stablil on his own track (like he used to). This guyz made sure most here.
Next track was CSL-Highlevel. All drivers had huge problems with this one. We often did mistakes
and missed the jump. I dont know if it was of nervous or just to less train :P no madder why, we lost 3-5 (1:1) on this track. Bigley brought most points home and was the best Fanatic on this crappy (imao) track.
2 Tracks drived now and all was still open. The next track was another of our opponent: CSL Dirty-Test. We had a perfect start here. First round all fanatics was before the first czech guy. Unfortunately we didnt go on like this and our opponent won overall again 3 rounds. But we were bette so we won 5:3 (2:1). Feo and EVG were our fastest guyz on here.
4th track was a legendary Fanatic-Map: Cookies are tasty by Chad. The shock was perfect when we lost 2 of the first 3 rounds. But it only took some seconds, then Fanatics was back and won 5-2 (3:1) what meant the we sure drawed. Bigley and Bohne made sure here most.
Our matchballtrack, the fifth was the legendary ESL-Coalminers by Sol666. We started also good here and after some more or less good rounds it stands 4-2 for Fanatics. One more round till win. But instead of wx.Crew won 2 rounds and it was 4:4. At the Final run Feo and Bohne (this guyz knew this tracks from the beginning in ESL, maybe it helped :P ) was 1st and 2nd. So we won the match! Overall the best drivers on this track were Feo and EVG. So it was 5:4 (4:1).
Last track, actually only add-on was CSL-Mad-Skill. We won it quite easy with 5:0 (5:1). Electro and Bigley was best here.
Conclusion:
It was a good game of us, infact that Electro, EVG and Marius did their fist real match for Fanatics. Good Job mates. But there is still a thing:
The Result is besser then we really drove. WX.Crew also won 17 of 45 rounds. Thats nearly the half. o.O. Too much imao.Of course we missed Speed and Jahn (maybe our 2 best drivers), but also our opponent missed some fast guyz.
Reasons for so much looses? Their could be 3 things, I guess:
-Not enough train
-Nervous
-Bad day / no expirience.
